Touchpoints are automated messages that are scheduled at a certain point in time. Touchpoints are scheduled relative to the reservation or inquiry timings. The goal of touchpoint is to give the guest the right information at the right moment in time.
A touchpoint can be targeted to guests that are using the app, or simply to all guests that should or are already invited:
Users - Users are guests that have logged in or accessed the guest app, meaning they have access to content within the app.
Invites - Invites are guests that are registered as an invitee on the reservation. They have or haven't accessed the app yet.
A touchpoint is always related to a moment in time, this can be tight to a reservation or an inquiry about a certain experience.
At the settings of the touchpoint, you will be able to alter the following information:
Name - Only used for internal reference, so that you remember what the touchpoint is about.
When - Schedule the touchpoint at a moment in time.
Select the amount of days
Before or after (a certain timepoint)
A timepoint, Check-in Date
, Checkout Date
, Reservation Created
, Reservation Cancelled
or when a Reservation checked in
Who - the audience of who should receive the touchpoint.
Users - Users are guests that have logged in or accessed the guest app, meaning they have access to content within the app.
Invites - Invites are guests that are registered as an invitee on the reservation. They have or haven't accessed the app yet.
A touchpoint can be scheduled across various channels. Each channel has it's own specific reach see an table overview below:
