# Link Details

## Link Details <a href="#link-details" id="link-details"></a>

#### What is on a link's page? <a href="#what-is-on-a-links-page" id="what-is-on-a-links-page"></a>

A link's own page is where you get the URLs to share and see how that one link is performing. Open it from **Affiliate → Links** by clicking a link's name or its **View** action, or from the per-link table on your [Dashboard](/partner-portal/dashboard.md).

The header shows the link's name, a **Back** action to the list, and a **Delete** action. At the bottom of the page you'll find its identifier and when it was created and last changed — useful to quote when you contact support.

#### Analytics <a href="#analytics" id="analytics"></a>

The **Analytics** card covers the **last 30 days (UTC)**, with the all-time total printed next to each metric.

<table><thead><tr><th width="151.34375">Metric</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Visits</strong></td><td>People who arrived through this link.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Signups</strong></td><td>Visitors who started a HolidayHero signup.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Conversions</strong></td><td>Signups that became an actual organization — the ones that count towards your kickback.</td></tr></tbody></table>

Underneath, the chart plots **visits per day** across the same 30 days, so you can line up a spike with the day you sent a newsletter or published a post.

#### Sharing URLs <a href="#sharing-urls" id="sharing-urls"></a>

<figure><img src="/files/7uDB1dS9W2UMReKMrqHx" alt=""><figcaption><p>The two URLs that carry your partner hash</p></figcaption></figure>

This card holds everything you actually share. Each URL has a **Copy** button.

<table><thead><tr><th width="162.78125">Field</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Hash</strong></td><td>The short code that identifies this link. It is embedded in both URLs below.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Partner URL</strong></td><td>The marketing-site URL carrying your hash. Use this when you want people to read about HolidayHero first.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Signup URL</strong></td><td>The direct signup URL carrying your hash. Use this when your audience is already sold and you want to remove a step.</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
Attribution rides on the hash, so share these URLs as they are. Shortening them is fine, but rewriting or dropping the hash means the visit is never counted as yours.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

#### Deleting the link <a href="#deleting-the-link" id="deleting-the-link"></a>

Use **Delete** in the page header and confirm. The same warning applies as on the list: visits arriving on that hash afterwards are no longer attributed to you. See [Affiliate Links](/partner-portal/affiliate/link-details.md).

#### Frequently Asked Questions <a href="#frequently-asked-questions" id="frequently-asked-questions"></a>

<details>

<summary>Which URL should I share — Partner or Signup?</summary>

Use the **Partner URL** for cold audiences who need to learn what HolidayHero is, and the **Signup URL** where you have already made the case yourself, such as at the end of a review or in a direct recommendation. Both attribute the visit to you.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why is my all-time total higher than the 30-day number?</summary>

Because the big number is the last 30 days and the small grey number next to it is the lifetime total. A link that has been in circulation for months will always show a larger all-time figure.

</details>

<details>

<summary>The chart is empty but the link has visits.</summary>

The chart only plots the last 30 days. A link whose traffic is older than that shows an empty chart while its all-time totals stay put.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I rename this link?</summary>

Not from the portal today. Create a new link with the name you want, or contact HolidayHero.

</details>

<details>

<summary>A conversion is missing — the customer told me they signed up.</summary>

Check that they used one of the URLs from this card, with the hash intact. Signups that reach HolidayHero another way — searching for us, an ad, a forwarded plain link — cannot be attributed afterwards. If you are sure the hash was used, contact HolidayHero with the link's identifier from the bottom of this page.

## Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation <a href="#agent-instructions-querying-this-documentation" id="agent-instructions-querying-this-documentation"></a>

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.holidayhero.com/partner-portal/affiliate/link-details.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language. The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
